Gazetteer of Imperium MC
Every named place in the city, with the Minecraft coordinates you can walk, teleport or build to. This is the text version of the interactive world map — the map itself is drawn in JavaScript, so this page exists to be read instead.
How to read these coordinates
- Coordinates are Minecraft world coordinates: x runs east, z runs south (so north is negative z). Height is omitted — everything listed is a surface feature.
- One block is one metre. The city is laid out to the real plan of Rome at roughly that scale.
- Spawn is at
x -377, z 1981. The “m from spawn” column is the straight-line distance from there. - The world border is 6400 blocks across, centred on 0,0 — anything beyond
±3200on either axis is outside it. - The mapped world spans
x -3584 to 3583,z -4096 to 3583. - Any place here can be opened on the map directly:
/map#x=-446&z=93&zoom=2. - Entries marked approximate are positioned from the builders’ plan rather than surveyed, and are good to within a block or two of the right street. Entries marked not yet built are drawn on the plan but the ground there is still open.
Machine-readable versions of everything below: data.json (full, also at /markers.json), or compact.txt — 13KB, one line per place, small enough to paste whole into an assistant that cannot fetch a URL.
Looking for somewhere to put something rather than find it? sites.json lists 140 clear, unbuilt plots measured from the server’s region files — size, ground height, how level they are, what the surface is, and what each one sits next to. And any part of the city can be looked at as an image: /map-tiles/world/r.{floor(x/512)}.{floor(z/512)}.webp is a top-down render of the 512×512 block region containing that point.
