The Rank Ladder
Climb ten ranks at launch (Rank I–Rank X), with one hundred planned for the future. Beyond Rank X lie the eight prestige eras, a march through Roman history from the Early Republic to the Byzantine Ascendancy. Every rung is earned through grind alone; money never advances your standing.
The rank ladder
At launch, the ladder runs from Rank I to Rank X. Each rank costs Denarius and raises your global sell multiplier, the higher you climb, the faster you earn. Ranks XI–C will be added gradually in future updates as the world expands.

Eight prestige eras
Reach Rank X, then reset to climb again, up to 8 times. Each prestige advances the world into a new historical era of Rome, and your earned cosmetics, pets, and era badges persist across every cycle as a permanent record of every empire you built.
The road beyond Rank X
The prestige ladder is a march through Roman history. Each of the 8 prestiges drops you into a new era, beginning with Early Republic (509 BC) and culminating in Byzantine Ascendancy (600 AD).
Prestige raises the stakes: richer mines, sharper enemies, and grander rewards. Your earned cosmetics, pets, and era badges persist across every cycle, a trophy case that grows with every empire you build and abandon.
The founding of Rome. Kings are overthrown, the Republic is born, and citizens first taste liberty.
Rome expands through Italy, the Punic Wars rage, and the legions march on Carthage.
Caesar crosses the Rubicon. The Republic fractures as ambition outpaces tradition.
Augustus is crowned. The Empire begins — an age of stability, roads, and monuments.
The golden age. Trade flourishes, the Colosseum rises, and Rome rules the known world.
Constantine converts, the capital shifts East, and the Empire splits in two.
Barbarians at the gates. The Western Empire crumbles, but the East endures.
From the ashes, Constantinople rises. The Roman legacy continues in the East.
