Envoy Airdrops

Glowing supply crates fall on a timer — race the server to claim one per wave.

Envoy airdrops are scheduled supply drops that fall from the sky on a repeating timer. Every wave, a handful of glowing crates scatter across a configured drop zone — and the whole server races to find them. Each crate is worth a fat chunk of Denarius and Auctoritas, but you can only claim one per wave, so speed and positioning decide who gets paid.

Unlike drop parties (which an admin fires manually), envoys run on an automatic interval. That means the rewards are predictable, recurring, and available to anyone online at the right time. Treat them as a steady money-and-tokens side hustle between mining sessions.

The Wave Cycle

Each envoy wave follows the same loop:

  1. On the configured interval (default every 1,800 seconds — 30 minutes), the server clears any leftover crates from the previous wave and resets the per-player claim tracker.
  2. A gradient “ENVOY AIRDROP!” broadcast announces how many crates are falling.
  3. The configured number of crates (default 5) spawn at random X/Z coordinates inside the drop zone, all at the same Y height.
  4. Crates glow, show a custom name tag through walls, and emit a flame + firework particle beacon so you can spot them from a distance.
  5. After 180 seconds (3 minutes), any unclaimed crates despawn — the wave is over and the timer starts counting down to the next one.

Default Configuration

These are the bundled defaults; an admin can override any of them at runtime to retune the economy or move the drop zone.

SettingDefault
Wave interval1,800s (30 minutes)
Crates per wave5
Crate despawn180s (3 minutes)
Denarius per crate25,000
Auctoritas per crate250
Drop zone−200 to +200 on X and Z, Y=80 (in the main world)

With the defaults, five crates drop every half hour. That is 125,000 Denarius and 1,250 Auctoritas up for grabs per wave — split among up to five players.

The One-Claim-Per-Wave Rule

The most important rule: each player may claim exactly one crate per wave. If you try to grab a second, you are blocked before any reward is granted and told:

You've already claimed an envoy crate this wave!

This is enforced server-side with a set that resets at the start of every wave, so there is no way around it. The rule keeps a single fast player from sweeping all five crates — it spreads the loot across the field and rewards the people who got there first rather than the one person who can fly the fastest.

Plan your route. Because you only get one crate, do not waste time chasing the closest one if three other players are already beelining for it. Pick a crate nobody is running toward.

How to Claim a Crate

  1. When the broadcast fires, scan the sky for glowing chests with name tags.
  2. The flame and firework particle beacon sits roughly 2 blocks above each crate, making them visible over terrain and buildings.
  3. Run (or fly, if you have a perk) to a crate that is not being contested.
  4. Right-click the supply crate while it is in your hand (it's a chest item) to collect it.
  5. You get +25,000 Denarius and +250 Auctoritas instantly, a level-up sound, a firework burst, and a server broadcast announcing your name.

Right-clicking also removes the crate item from your inventory and cancels the interaction so nothing else triggers off it. The reward credits land in your balances immediately.

Tips for Winning the Race

  • Memorize the drop zone. Crates fall between X/Z −200 and +200 at Y=80. The center of that box is the best place to idle between waves.
  • Pick the far crate. Most players chase the nearest one. The crate on the opposite corner of the zone is often uncontested.
  • Use movement perks. Speed enchants, legion warps inside the zone, and any fly ability turn the race in your favor.
  • Don't double-claim. Your one-claim-per-wave limit is strict — once you take a crate, switch to cheering on legionmates or scouting the next wave's likely spots.
  • Watch the despawn clock. Crates vanish after 3 minutes. If you are 30 seconds out and three crates are still up, you are almost guaranteed one — the field thins fast.
  • Coordinate in your legion. Call out unclaimed crates in legion chat so a guildmate can grab them before they despawn.

Envoys are the most consistent free payout in Imperium. Even if you only grab one crate per wave, that is an easy 1.2M+ Denarius a day just for showing up to the drop zone every half hour.
