Boosters
Stack temporary multipliers on sells, tokens, XP, and luck — personal and server-wide, persisted across restarts.
Boosters are temporary multipliers that supercharge your earnings for a set duration. They come in two flavors: personal (only you benefit) and server-wide (everyone online benefits). Stack them with your rank, prestige, and enchant multipliers and your income can briefly multiply several times over.
Personal vs Server-Wide
Personal boosters
- Only you get the multiplier.
- Activated from your inventory or the
/boostspanel. - Common reward from voting, crates, and the daily ladder.
Server-wide boosters
- Everyone online gets the multiplier for the duration.
- Typically bought from the store and activated as a gift to the server.
- A broadcast announces when one goes live - jump online to take advantage.
Server boosters are a popular community flex. When you see a "Money Booster activated by X" broadcast, drop what you are doing and mine - the whole server is suddenly earning double.
Booster Types
| Booster | What it multiplies | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Sell Multiplier | Multiplies the Denarius value of everything you sell. | Personal or server |
| Token Booster | Multiplies Auctoritas earnings while mining. | Personal or server |
| XP Booster | Multiplies pickaxe and quest XP gains. | Personal or server |
| Mining Speed Booster | Grants Haste for faster block-breaking. | Personal or server |
| Luck Booster | Improves crate luck and rare-drop odds (the crate roller reads it live). | Personal or server |
| Money Rain | Pays affected players Denarius every minute while it runs. | Server |
How to Get Boosters
| Source | How |
|---|---|
| Voting | Some vote milestones and vote parties grant personal boosters. |
| Crates | Mid-to-high tier crates can drop personal boosters as rewards. |
| Daily / Weekly / Monthly | The reward ladders sometimes include short boosters. |
| Events | Festivals, arena tournaments, and colosseum events reward boosters. |
| Legion upgrades | Permanent (non-timered) boosts live in your legion upgrade tree. |
| Store | Buy server-wide boosters at store.imperiummc.net to benefit everyone. |
Activating a Booster
- Type
/booststo open the boosters panel. - See which boosters you have ready to activate (stored as items in your inventory or vault).
- Click one to activate it personally, or use
/booster serverto buy and share one server-wide. - The multiplier kicks in immediately and a countdown shows in your action bar.
Most boosters run for a fixed duration (commonly 15, 30, or 60 minutes) and the timer only counts down while you are online for personal boosters. Server boosters run in real time regardless of who is online.
Boosters survive restarts. Active boosters are persisted to the database the moment they activate and reloaded when the server boots - a restart (or a paid 24-hour server booster) no longer vaporizes time you paid for. And if staff grant you a booster while you are offline, it queues and lands the next time you log in.
How Stacking Works
Boosters stack with most other multipliers, but there is a key rule: for the same bonus type, the strongest active booster wins - they do not add together.
| Source | Stacks? |
|---|---|
| Personal booster | Yes - applies on top of your rank, prestige, and enchant multipliers. |
| Server booster (yours) | Yes - your own server booster also applies to you personally. |
| Server booster (others) | Yes - you benefit from server boosters other players activate. |
| Multiple same-type | Limited - only the strongest active multiplier of a given type applies, not the sum. |
| Legion upgrade | Yes - permanent legion boosts are separate from timered boosters. |
So a 2x personal Money Booster and a 2.5x server Money Booster give you 2.5x (not 4.5x) on money - but both stack separately on top of your rank and prestige multipliers, which is where the big income jumps come from.
When to Pop a Booster
Timing matters. A booster wasted on travel is a booster wasted.
- Mine during the window. Activate a Money/Token booster only when you are about to mine non-stop for its full duration.
- Stack with abilities. Pop Super Breaker at the same time for compounded gains.
- Pair with a server booster. If a server Money Booster is live, that is the perfect time to add your personal one.
- Open crates during a Crate Luck Booster. Bulk-open saved keys to maximize pity progress.
- Do not pop and AFK. Personal boosters only tick while you are online and active.
Boosters vs Legion Upgrades
Do not confuse timered boosters with the permanent boosts from your Legion upgrade tree. Legion upgrades like Money Boost and Token Boost are always-on passives for every member of your legion. They stack with timered boosters and are the reason being in an upgraded legion is so valuable.
| Feature | Timered booster | Legion upgrade |
|---|---|---|
| Duration | Fixed window (15-60 min) | Permanent while you are in the legion |
| Who benefits | You, or everyone online | Every member of your legion |
| Source | Votes, crates, events, store | Civitas spent by officers |
| Stacks with each other | Yes | Yes |
Tracking Active Boosters
Type /boosts any time to see:
- Every personal booster currently active on you, with time remaining.
- Every server booster currently live.
- Your stored (unactivated) boosters ready to pop.
The action bar at the bottom of your screen also shows icons for any active multipliers, so you can always tell when something is boosting you.
Quick Command Reference
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|

/booster active | List every booster currently running on you and the server, with time left. |
/booster list | List the booster types and prices. |

/booster give <player> <type> [mult] [minutes] | Staff: grant a booster - works even if the target is offline; it queues and delivers on their next login. |
