Banking
The Argentarius savings account — daily interest on banked Denarius, small fees, and a safe place for the purse you can’t afford to lose.
The Argentarius Bank is the savings side of the moneylender from the Loans system: a per-player Denarius account that pays daily interest. Money in the bank is money that keeps growing while you mine, trade, or sleep. You reach it through the in-game menu system - the Forum hub's Bank tab - rather than a slash command, and it works identically for Java and Bedrock players because the menu renders to both.
Deposits, Withdrawals & Interest
Open the bank from the forum menu and pick a preset amount to deposit or withdraw ($1,000 / $10,000 / $100,000 tiles). The numbers (as of Sept 2026):

Interest is paid daily by the server. If the casino and bank together ever grow beyond a set share of the economy's daily faucet, the interest rate is automatically halved for that day - a governor that keeps savings from printing money faster than the game can absorb it.
Wealth Safety
Banked Denarius sits outside your carried balance. Your wallet is what you risk - in trades gone wrong, in gambles, in the heat of the PVP Mine. The bank is where the purse you are not willing to lose lives. Between sessions, between seasons of a rank climb, or while saving toward a big rank-up, parking money in the bank means it is both safe and compounding.
Math check: at 0.5% per day, a 10M balance pays about 50,000 Denarius a day - passive income worth having. The 0.5% fees mean a round trip (in and out) costs 1%, so deposit money you plan to leave for more than a couple of days.
The Bank and the Rest of the Economy
