Streak Freeze
Skip a day without losing your daily login streak — freezes auto-trigger on a missed day.
A streak freeze - shown in-game as a ward (the shield icon in the /daily menu) - protects your daily login streak when you miss a day. Miss a day with protection and the streak holds; miss one without and it resets to 1. Wards are the named, visible version of the freeze idea: you can see how many you hold, the calendar tells you when you earn more, and there is a hard cap so nobody banks an invincible streak forever.
How a Miss Is Resolved
You claim with /daily, and the claim cooldown is a friendly 21 hours - but life happens. When you come back, the time since your last claim decides everything (as of Sept 2026):

Protection burns in a fixed order: grace first, then a ward. Grace is one free miss per ISO week (resets Monday). A protected miss holds the streak - it does not increment it, since you skipped the day.
Earning Wards
- The streak calendar: days 7 and 21 of every 28-day cycle each grant 1 ward on claim.
- Staff grants: events and giveaways can hand out freezes directly.
- Cap: you can hold at most 5 wards - spend them or stop earning past five.

Comeback Rescue
Broke your streak anyway? For 72 hours after a break, the /daily menu offers a one-shot restore: pay 2 wards and your pre-break streak returns in full. Two wards, not one - the rescue is deliberately priced worse than preemptive protection. Miss the 72-hour window and the streak is gone for good.
Why Streaks Matter
Your streak is a live income multiplier: 1.0 + min(streak, 50) × 0.02 - up to 2.0× on Denarius and Auctoritas income at a 50-day streak, stacking with boosters under the same clamp. On top of that, the 28-day calendar pays milestone days (7/14/21/28) with multiplied payouts, crate keys, and the day-28 "Fidelis" flair. See Daily Rewards for the full calendar.
