Daily Quests

Five rotating objectives each day — complete and claim them for Denarius, Auctoritas, and the occasional Civitas.

Daily Quests are five rotating objectives that refresh every 24 hours. Each quest asks you to do something you'd probably do anyway - mine a number of blocks, sell a Denarius amount, kill players in PvP, play for a while, or fish - and pays out Denarius and Auctoritas on completion. They are a reliable source of steady token income and the gentle nudge that keeps your session pointed at a goal.

The Five Quests

Each player gets five quests drawn from a large pool, re-rolled at every midnight reset (the draw is seeded per player per day, so yours differ from your neighbour's). The objective families the pool draws from:

Objective FamilyExample
MiningBreak N stone/cobblestone, or mine N of a specific ore (iron, coal, gold, redstone...).
EconomySell N items, or earn N Denarius from any source.
CombatKill N players, kill N bosses, or win N duels.
SessionPlay N minutes, vote on N sites, open N crates, join a party.
Living worldCatch N fish, break N logs, harvest crops, use gadgets, socket crystals, deliver items, complete contracts.

Rewards scale with the quest's difficulty - a small mining daily might pay 5,000 Denarius and 40 Auctoritas, while rarer objectives pay 15,000+ Denarius, 90+ tokens, and occasionally a point of Civitas. If an active quest chain is running, its current step takes over one of your five slots (never adding a sixth).

Progress & Completion

Quest progress is tracked automatically as you play. Mine a block, the mining quest ticks up; sell a stack, the sell quest ticks up. There's nothing to manually trigger - the DailyQuestService listens to the same events as the rest of the game. When a quest's target is hit, the reward is queued (not auto-claimed); run /dailyquests claim to collect everything you've completed but not yet banked.

Completed quests hold their rewards until you claim them, but the midnight reset throws away any unclaimed rewards along with the old quests. Get in the habit of running /dailyquests claim at the end of every session so nothing expires.

The Daily Reset

Quests refresh at a fixed time each day (typically midnight server time). At reset, all five quests are re-rolled with fresh objectives, any unclaimed rewards from the previous day are forfeit, and progress bars start over. The reset is global - every player gets their new quests at the same moment, so daily quests naturally drive the server's activity rhythm.

Tips

  1. Claim before reset. Unclaimed rewards vanish at midnight - make /dailyquests claim the last command of your session.
  2. Stack the kill quest with PvP events. If a kill quest is active, hit the PVP Mine or queue for the Colosseum to clear it fast.
  3. Session quests clear themselves. Play-minutes and vote dailies finish while you do everything else - save your effort for the combat and economy ones.
  4. Rarer objectives pay best. Boss kills, duels, and gemstone dailies carry bigger reward lines than plain stone - clear those first when they appear.
  5. Quests and challenges stack. Many daily quest activities also progress long-term challenges - efficient players clear both at once.
