Gadgets

Ten cosmetic toys — launch pads, Roman candles, fake TNT, a flying pig — with zero gameplay impact.

Gadgets are toys - inventory items with a right-click effect that is pure spectacle. A launch pad that bounces you skyward, a fake lightning bolt, a flying pig. They deal no damage, mine no blocks, and pay no currency: every gadget is 100% cosmetic, by design. What they do is make spawn feel alive.

The Ten Gadgets

GadgetCooldownWhat it does
Launch Pad3sRight-click to launch yourself into the air.
Roman Candle2sShoots random fireworks from where you stand.
Paint Bomb5sExplodes in a cloud of colored particles.
Orb of Mercury4sThrow a snowball and teleport to where it lands (short range only).
Party Popper3sBurst of confetti particles and a celebration sound.
Jupiter's Bolt2sSummons a visual lightning strike - zero damage.
Apollo's Steed5sLaunches a pig that flies forward, harmlessly.
Fake TNT3sSpawns TNT-shaped particles - no explosion, no block damage.
Prism Cloak10sLeaves a rainbow particle trail behind you for 30 seconds.
Hunter's Hook3sFires a fishing hook that pulls entities toward you (no damage).

Every gadget activation counts toward the USE_GADGETS daily quest objective, so playing with your toys is also (minor) quest progress.

Getting Gadgets

Gadgets come from crates, events, and the store - the same channels as other cosmetics. The Orb of Mercury deserves a note: it teleports you, but it is scoped as a toy - the teleport refuses long-range throws (roughly 64 blocks) so it can never double as a real travel tool or skip a region gate.

No pay-to-win, no combat edge. A gadget cannot damage a player, break a block, or earn a Denarius. If a gadget ever looks like it is doing any of those, report it - that would be a bug, not a feature.
