Ancient Shard Shop
Spend rare Ancient Shards on the Ancient Set — six unbreakable netherite pieces worth up to a ×2.5 all-currency multiplier.
Ancient Shards are the rarest collectible currency in Imperium - dark amethyst shards from a civilization that mined these hills long before Rome. They exist for one purpose: the Ancient Set, six pieces of netherite gear whose set bonus multiplies every currency you earn. Twenty shards buy one piece at the /shardshop.

Every piece is unbreakable, and the bonus stacks per piece (as of Sept 2026):
- +5% to all currencies per piece worn/held (1.05×, 1.10×, ... at 5 pieces).
- Full set (6/6): ×2.5 all currencies - the single biggest permanent multiplier in the game.
Where Shards Come From
Shards are deliberately scarce. The known sources:
- The Ancient Shard enchant - a mythic OpenChants-tier pickaxe enchant with an ultra-rare proc that drops a shard straight into your inventory.
- Omen events - the world's dark-omen happenings drop shard items for those present.
- Staff and event grants - competitions and giveaways.
Shards vs. Vote Shards
Do not confuse the two: Vote Shards are common, earned by voting, and buy everyday value (keys, boosters). Ancient Shards are the black-amethyst endgame currency buying a once-per-account armor set. One is pocket change; the other is a treasure.
