Staff & Moderation

How staff keep the server fair — bans, mutes, jails, the rules they enforce, and how to appeal.

Imperium is moderated by humans - helpers, moderators, and admins - backed by an anticheat that watches every packet. This page is the player's side of that relationship: the rules you agreed to by joining, what enforcement looks like, how to report someone, and how to appeal when the boot is on your foot.

The Rules in One Breath

  • No hacked clients or exploits. The anticheat escalates on its own - warnings, freezes, kicks, and bans - and hacked-client detection skips the ladder entirely.
  • No harassment, hate, or spam. Chat is moderated; slurs are filtered automatically.
  • No real-money trading outside the official store. Account sales and off-server deals are bannable.
  • One account per player for progression purposes; alts used to farm rewards are treated as exploitation.
  • Scamming - tricking players out of items or money - is punished. Use the safe systems (/trade, the Auction House) and you cannot be scammed.

What Enforcement Looks Like

Punishments ladder by severity and repeat: a warning, then a mute (you can play, not talk) or a jail (a holding cell while staff talk to you), then a temporary ban, and finally a permanent ban for the incorrigible. Anticheat enforcement is automatic and staged the same way. Staff actions are logged with the issuing staff member and the reason - nothing happens anonymously.

Reporting a Player or Bug

ChannelUse it for
Discord (discord.gg/9qdP3Uqx3q)The fastest channel. Player reports, cheater clips, rule questions - open a ticket in the help area.
Website tickets (imperiummc.net/support/tickets)Formal reports and requests tied to your account - categories include bug, account, and appeal.
In-game /helpPointing staff to an ongoing incident while it happens.

A good report names the player, gives the time (with timezone), and includes evidence - a clip, a screenshot of chat, an item description. Vague reports stall; specific ones resolve in one look. For bugs, the support page walks the four steps of a clean report.

Appeals

Appeal through a ticket, not through DMs. Open a ticket on the site (the appeal category) or in Discord's help area. State the punishment, the staff member if you know them, and your side plainly. Appeals are reviewed by staff who were not the original issuer where possible. Honest mistakes get honest hearings; "my brother was playing" gets the scrutiny it has earned.

Anticheat bans are appealable the same way. Because detection is automated, a genuine false positive (a mod that looked like a hack, a network glitch) is exactly what the appeal lane exists for - include what client and mods you were running and it speeds everything up.
