Jackhammer
Titan's Hammer — mines the entire horizontal layer of the mine instantly, up to 50% of all breaks.
Jackhammer — known in-game as Titan's Hammer — is the legendary mining enchant that mines the entire horizontal layer of the mine in a single break. On a proc, every block at your current Y-level (the full layer) is mined instantly, paying out as if you broke each one by hand. At high levels it can fire on up to 50% of your breaks, making it the defining capstone of an area-mining build.
Jackhammer is covered alongside the other area-clearers on the Mining Enchants page. This spotlight covers its mechanics, cost math, and strategy.

The Layer Clear
When Jackhammer procs, it does not mine a fixed radius — it mines every block on the current horizontal layer of the mine. In a 100×100 mine that is up to 10,000 blocks in a single break, each paying its full block value. The proc chance is 0.0005 × level, so:
| Level | Proc chance |
|---|---|
| 1 | 0.05% |
| 100 | 5% |
| 500 | 25% |
| 1000 (cap) | 50% |
The cap is 50% — beyond that, every other break clears a layer. Because the payout per cleared block is the block's normal value, Jackhammer compounds with every sell multiplier (Fortune, prestige, sell bonuses).
Jackhammer only fires inside a minable mine region. In a protected lobby or the wrong world it silently does nothing — this is the most common "my enchant doesn't work" report. Confirm with /rg here.
How to Obtain Jackhammer
Jackhammer requires Prestige 8 + Rank 80 to buy or apply.
- Enchant books — the intended path. Level-1 books drop from legendary/mythic crates and trade on the Auction House. Fuse two same-level books for +1.
- The
/enchantmenu — buy directly with Auctoritas. The 75,000-token base cost is low, but the 1000-level ceiling means maxing it is a long grind.
Cost Math
Jackhammer uses standard linear-ish scaling per level (the curve is gentler than the mythic ×3.0 enchants). The realistic milestone costs:
| Milestone | Approx. cumulative cost |
|---|---|
| Level 10 (~0.5% proc) | ~750k Auctoritas |
| Level 100 (5% proc) | ~7.5M Auctoritas |
| Level 500 (25% proc) | ~37M Auctoritas |
| Level 1000 (50% cap) | ~75M+ Auctoritas |
You do not need to max Jackhammer for it to be useful. Most players push it to level 100–200 (5–10% proc) and let Supernova and Singularity handle the burst income.
Strategy
- Mine at the richest Y-level. Since the clear is a whole layer, pick the layer with the densest ore and stay there. Moving up or down wastes procs on poorer layers.
- Pair with Vein Miner and Explosive. Vein Miner clears connected ore veins on its own proc, and Explosive clears a radius — stacked with Jackhammer, a single break can clear a layer, its veins, and a radius around you.
- Stack block-value multipliers. Fortune and sell multipliers apply to every block the layer-clear pays, so a +20% multiplier on a 10,000-block clear is enormous.
- Watch the cooldown economics. A layer clear pays out a huge lump sum via the Sarcina; make sure your backpack capacity and autosell can handle the burst, or you lose blocks to overflow.
