Getting Started

Kits

Claim pre-built item kits on a cooldown — starter gear, food, PVP supplies, and donor kits.

Kits are pre-built bundles of items you can claim on a cooldown — starter gear, food, PVP supplies, and donor-exclusive kits. The KitService hands out a configured ItemStack set per kit, and each kit tracks its own cooldown (typically hours or days) so you can't spam-claim. Kits are the safety net for new players (the starter kit gets you mining immediately) and a perk for donors (exclusive kits with better gear).

Standard Kits

Every player has access to a baseline set of kits, defined in kits.yml. The exact roster is staff-configurable, but the staples are:

KitWhat it contains
StarterA basic pickaxe, food, and the essentials to start mining — claim this first on a new account.
FoodA stack of food to keep your hunger bar full. Short cooldown, claim often.
ToolsUtility tools (torch, crafting table) for cell building and exploration.
PVPCombat consumables and basic armor for the PVP Mine. Longer cooldown.

Donor Kits

Higher donor tiers unlock exclusive kits with better gear and shorter cooldowns. These kits are a meaningful perk of donor ranks — a mid-tier donor kit might include enchanted armor or a stack of golden apples, while the top-tier donor kits hand out premium consumables and cosmetic items. Donor kit access is permission-gated, so it activates automatically when your donor rank is granted.

Donor kit items are typically soulbound or marked so they can't be transferred — they're meant to benefit the donor, not be sold on the Auction House. Check the item lore before listing anything from a kit.

Cooldowns

Each kit has its own cooldown timer, tracked per player. Once you claim a kit, the cooldown starts ticking; you can't claim again until it expires. The kit GUI shows the remaining time on each kit you're currently locked out of, so you always know when your next claim is available. Cooldowns are real-time, not playtime — a 24-hour kit cooldown means 24 hours of wall-clock time, not 24 hours online.

Commands

CommandWhat it does

Tips

  1. Claim the starter kit immediately. It removes the "I have nothing" friction of a fresh account.
  2. Claim food on cooldown. The food kit is generous and refreshes fast — never walk around hungry.
  3. Don't waste donor kits. If you're about to log off, wait until you're back to claim a daily donor kit so the cooldown ticks while you're away.
  4. Check the GUI for new kits. Staff add kits for events and festivals; the menu is the fastest way to see what's new.
  5. Kits don't replace mining. The starter pickaxe is basic — your real progression comes from the prison pickaxe and enchants.
